Virtual Mouse

This Virtual Mouse project by r5rejeet shows us how OpenCV can be used to interface the camera image and process it into a HMI device. You can move the mouse pointer around the screen by moving your open hand around, you can click by simply closing your hand. This allow for a surprisingly good looking gesture interface.

    I’m sure there’s serious math behind this, but… I can mouse away indefinitely – let me see you hold up your hand for ten minutes…

    You only need to put the cam under your glass desk and make the moves on the surface. While at it also put your monitor under the desk you will get a huge tablet. Oh, wait. Microsoft already has PixelSense.
