DIY LED Display using WS2811 LED Strips

at 2:07 am. Filed under DIY Hacks

If you are looking to build a large low resolution screen stringing a bunch of WS2811 LED Strips together might be just the thing. ejunky66 shows us how you can make a cool flexible DIY LED Display using WS2811 LED Strips. The strips are stuck onto a plastic sheet, they are linked together in small grids that are then connected to the computer controlled interface. This panel won’t be cheap but can scale up much larger than your big screen TV and looks impressive from a distance. Nice thing is it can be rolled up or curved around surfaces.
