Name the Thing Contest – 200

Yahoo, this is the 200th name the thing contest, thanks to everyone who participates each week! The Debug Store will be sponsoring the contest this week with a great prize. They are providing a 16 Channel, 100MHz Logic/Protocol Analyser with 30 Protocol Decoders to the winner. This analyser can save you a ton of frustration on your projects by letting you see what is actually happening, and with 16 channels and 100MHz you won’t miss a thing.

This contest will run for one week (March 31 – April 6, 2012) . Ending time is based on central standard time. To enter, identify the item pictured above and give an example of what can be done with it.

    Seriously? You mean, the “thing” in the box with the question mark can be only one thing?

    Hi George,

    The circuit shown is the thing to guess (what it is and can be used for). That item listed as a question mark needed to be removed otherwise it would make the purpose of the circuit trivial to guess.

    Sorry for the confusion.
