    Hei! WRONG TITLE, wrong description !!!!!
    This project is not about “Increasing the Fan Speed” but about adding the feedback signal from fan to the PC.

    Agreed. The article you linked looks like the author was half asleep when writing it with all the incomplete thoughts. You should just link to the actual tutorial.

    I guess it depends on how you *spin* it :) but increasing the fan speed might be the result of adding the feedback. Ironically, it’s more likely that *decreasing* the speed will actually happen because most of the unregulated fans are running at or near their optimal speed for the given supply voltage. When you’re adding PWM control, you can only take away some of the power hence the speed can only be regulated down from the max.
