Name the Thing Contest – 171

The prize this week is a loupe magnifier, this will let you get a close look at whatever you are working on. This contest will run for one week (April 16 – 22, 2011). Ending time is based on central standard time. To enter, identify the item pictured above.

Please do not give the answer in the comments.

Send an email to contest @ hackedgadgets.com with “Name the Thing Contest” as the subject, and the message body consisting of:

  • The name of the item in the above picture
  • An example of what the item pictured above can be used for

The winner will be chosen at random from all of the correct entries.

    Hi Alan, I like others have trouble finding the answers to this contest after you post them.I see links for previous contests but not the most recent one? The links show contests numbered in 2 digits while this one is #171. Could you maybe post a link for answers to the most recent i.e. last contest. If you’ve explained this already please forgive me.

    Hi Ed and Nardella,

    That is a common comment I will need to make an easier way to know when the old contests have been revealed. You can click on the contest category for now and it will be easy to find but there is no automatic way to know when the winner has been announced and the answer has been posted.
