If you have a Acura NSX in your driveway and are getting a bit bored with its lines. Why not not make it into a $550,000 Farrari F50? Not sure if this was a conversion by owner or if the owner hired a shop to make the changes. I could just imagine the reaction the owner would have had if he showed up mid way through the project and saw his car in that state! The NSX is a respectable supercar in its own right. why the hell would someone go to the trouble of spending money to trash the value of a six-figure vehicle while trying to make it look like something else in the same class?

I’ve seen this done a few times where they use expanding foam and sculpt it afterward.
Looks like it came out pretty good.

Hope he at least invested in the CompTech Supercharger, ECU Flash, and Improved Fuel Map. 400 HP will be a lot more useful to sling all that added foam weight around than the stock 290. Still hurts me to see it. If you want the F50, buy the F50. If you want the NSX, buy the NSX. Don’t ruin a great car to build a disappointing fake of another car. At least the Fiero/Ferrari mods back in the 80′s were purpose-built kits.

A nsx isn’t a 6 figure car. You can pick them up for 55k. I also do not thinlk they are in the same class. One looks fast and one is fast.

In a way it’s kind of cool that you can do it. At the same time it’s lame as hell because no matter what, it’s still an Acura. Having a counterfeit ferrari just makes you look lame.

Yeah… even if i saw that going down the road, i wouldn’t think “Ooh, Ferarri.” Yeah… it looks LIKE a Ferarri…. but even so, something about it just seems a little off. Either way… i think i’d rather have a Lotus. Not exactly “Supercar”…. but also not exactly cliche’d to high hell, either. SOOOO glad the Lotus Evora is in Test Drive Unlimited 2.
And fail for the minivan in the background of the first picture with the bodykit….
