The prize this week is a MSP430 Launch Pad that we featured last month, I got the one I ordered last week and it looks great. I haven’t had any time to check it out yet but I have a few project ideas for it. This contest will run for one week (July 31 – August 6, 2010) . Ending time is based on central standard time. I bought a couple of the ‘mystery item’s earlier this year out of curiosity, always like getting new electronic things to tinker with, but haven’t come up with any meaningful ideas for them.
When this contest is over, a piece on various projects involving the ‘mystery item’ would most welcome.

How is everybody getting their MSP430 Launchpad? I ordered mine a month ago, then two days later they emailed me to say it was on backorder, and I haven’t heard from them since >:(

I was sure I knew what this little thing was when I saw the picture. Items similar are in many of the insturments found at the place I work.
