Nixie Tube Clock Kit Build

at 4:34 pm. Filed under DIY Hacks, Electronic Hacks

We have featuring tons of clocks around here lately. Nick Romano sent in a clock that he built from a kit he got from a Frank Techniek. It is spiced up with lots of cool extras that make it shine!

"I built one from a kit offered by Frank Tech and then fabricated the case. All parts, fasteners etc are hand made of brass, acrylic and a glass dome. I used glass beads for standoffs which brighten and buffer the blue led. I thought you would like to see the glass globe. It’s simple to do… I used a light bulb and cut off all but an 1/8th inch of the base."
