Augmented Reality Business Card

at 8:45 pm. Filed under Complex Hacks, Computer Hacks, Cool Gadgets

Most business cards are boring, this Augmented Reality Business Card is anything but boring! I think it even tops the Planetary Gear Business Card, only issue is that you need a computer to see how cool it is.

"Inspired by this guy, I just got a fresh batch of business cards from moo.com. There’s not really enough space on a business card to explain yourself in any detail so I thought I’d extend it using augmented reality. I recorded a short video bio and created a 3D grid of coloured planes. These planes are updated with the colours from the video and extruded depending on the level of brightness."

i think it needs some bar code because if you give me that your business card and i should it tom my pc via web cam or on the cellphone camera it will just display what it sees not holographic
vid so the bar code will help the device to download from the web your holographic vid

nad this is not something new i have seeing books and things with such holographic vids and 3d objects a few yrs a go
    sorry for bad English
