i never ever had pager i do not even know how it is working.
sou i have one question is it like a radio that receives any text message openly send by any one?
because am asking this is i see in the scren she is rteciving all the message send by everyone.
correct me if i am wrong or even criticize me

  2. Alan Parekh Says:

    Hi Mikheil,

Yes, someone that wants to send a message will use a service that will get it onto the network, this message is then broadcast into the entire coverage area. The message will contain a code specifying the device that it is intended to be displayed on. All the pagers see all the messages in the stream but only display the ones that were intended for them.

Most pages can have several codes. Makes it easy to page all, or a group of pagers at once.

oops, most pagers can have several codes.

Might want to be careful about publishing any data decoded – US federal law still “allows” private reception of any radio signal, but it does NOT allow sharing it with others….
