I wonder how hard it was to sell one of their Word Processing packages which even after the $2,100 discount was $10,850? If that price isn’t bad enough we have to remember that a dollar in 1977 bought you significantly more than it does today! I sure hope the $6,850 line printer came with a lifetime supply of paper to justify that cost. No wonder it took so long to replace the manual typewriter… |
