KeithRobot has made a crazy looking walking robot. It looks like the helicopter needs to be a bit more powerful to make it more useful but it is a great proof of concept. I can just imagine this thing being automated, it could fly close to the destination and walk the rest of the way. |

You need to get a brushless motor, and it will fly.
I predict this will make it’s way into real helicopters within 10-15 years. No more dragging the thing on the ground into and out of the hangar.

This thing is really sweet, is there any chance on a closer look at the leg joints? as they seem slightly more complex and cool than your standard six legged robot.
