Ashish Derhgawen has done lots of interesting work with vision. You can see all of his projects on his Ashish’s Programming Journal. Cool, but what does a cell-phone-controlled lock have to do with a webcam?
I wonder if you could point the webcam at the screen, and actually be able to point at things on the screen to click them.

Very true, I was originally only going to reference the first two projects but the third was too good to leave out. So I guess it is an unrelated bonus.
