Robot Spider powered by a Javelin Stamp

If you want to make a project that is a bit creepy, this Robot Spider is for you. It uses a powerful Parallax microcontroller so it could also be adapted for many other purposes.

"Microcontroller:
Javelin Stamp (with Ubicom SX48AC, Parallax)

Sensors:
1x ultrasonic sensor (Deva-tech SRF04)
2x sensor with micro-switches Actuators:
3x Standard Model servos for the musculoskeletal
1x Micro servo to the pan of ultrasonic sensor "

    hmm spider you say … that robot has 6 legs … a spider has 8 … therfor no spider

    Yes, the correct term here is a hexapod robot. I must admit though Robot Ant doesn’t really have the same ring to it as the arachnid equivalent. I guess you’d better add some more legs there.
