If you are looking for some inspiration for your next PC case mod have a look at some of these Crazy PC Case Mods! I have seen a few of them before but this Microwave PC Case mod stood out. I love how stock the microwave looks.
There are many people who are addicted to food and computers. It seems like somebody managed to put those together and came up with the Microwave PC. This case doesn’t cook but allows you to surf the Web and to play Solitaire or something else. It seems that people are taking their passions to an all new extreme by using them to design their PC cases, it’s an interesting trend. It makes you wonder if someone who enjoys free casino games online would try to make a PC case out of a slot machine. It can be done. Nowadays, a computer is indispensable in our homes, it is always nice to have something special, a PC like no other, this microwave design is definitely one of a kind. |

It’s a mod for Pegasos PPC motherboard from Genesi, got it from them for Assembly 200x (can’t remember, “I was very very drunk”).
This was at Finnish Amiga Users Group stand. I must admit, it was pretty fun to toy with.
Bill, no - it doesn’t go “ping” when you log off. Probably since you don’t, just flip the switch to off (MorphOS is mostly AmigaOS compatible).
Mr. Maigo - there weren’t such things back then but who knows, perhaps the owner got one later on. That keyboard did have brushed steel cover though it’s not as pretty.

Should learn to read, the top picture IS from Assembly (you can see my hands in it) but the others are from CES (2003! How old stuff does this site report…).

What’s interesting nowadays is that you fit a mother into any piece of junk and that’s it. It’s a mod.
Man. Do something useful. Bring the microwave to recycle and help the planet instead of displaying garbage assembly !

marc, He is recycling it you nitwit. Just because he isn’t using conventional methods of recycling doesn’t mean he is just tossing this into a dump, he is reusing it, thus recycling it for his own needs.
