Maker Faire 2008 - Big Success

at 5:10 am. Filed under Complex Hacks, Cool Gadgets, DIY Hacks, Electronic Hacks, Funny Hacks, Game Hacks, What Were They Thinking

By the sounds of it the Maker Faire is getting bigger and bigger each year. I think I need to make some time and go next year… DL.TV went down and covered the event along with many others.

"Wow! Another great Maker Faire. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the 3rd annual Maker Faire, and a special thanks to our Makers, Crafters, Sponsors, Exhibitors and the amazing Maker Faire team. We had a record number of Makers (over 500), record attendance of 65,000 and launched a Maker Faire Educational Program too. There are thousands of great stories and we would love to hear yours and have you share your photos and videos with us (options below). Please be sure to visit our site for updates, videos, content from Maker Faire, a review of press activity and more. We look forward to seeing everyone next year!"
