Name the Thing Contest - 46

Congratulations to the last contest winner.
The prize this week will help you open you next hack.
This contest will run for one week (April 19 - April 25, 2008) . Ending time is based on central standard time. To enter, identify the item pictured above and give an example of what can be done with it. Please do not give the answer in the comments.

 

Send an email to contest @ hackedgadgets.com with "Name the Thing Contest" as the subject, and the message body consisting of:

  • The name of the item in the above picture
  • An example of what the item pictured above can be used for

The winner will be chosen at random from all of the correct entries.

    are you supposed to guess exactly whats shown on the picture or what thing its a part of :S

    either would be fine since there is only one application for the board shown. :)

    It’s easy to find out what the thing with the board is, and what’s unique about this picture.

    This particular chip is only used for one application so yes either would be fine.

    Hehe… Hence the erasing of some of the letters IDing the chip with mad photoshop skillz :D

    But that won’t stop a proficient googler from finding the answer. (Or in my case a frequent stumbler… I stumbled that a few days ago…)
