Paper V-12 Engine

at 5:09 am. Filed under Crazy Hacks, DIY Hacks, Funny Hacks

When I had a pilot’s license and more disposable income I wanted a Hawker Hurricane. Sure The Spitfire was more famous and sexier but both planes had the Rolls Royce V12 Merlin engine.

Now that I no longer have a licenese and a lot less cash I have to settle for paper airplanes. At least I can now have the paper motor to go with them. Yee’s Job has quite a bit of amazing paper objects. Now if your interests are more towards the land warfare side, Die Gestalten Verlag has an AK-47. If you want to fold your own, check out Willem’s instructions.

looks like a 3d model rendered with GI OR RAD
I doubt that it’s real at all… can u imagin trying to take a picture of anything in a perfectly black enviroment?

  2. @ will Says:

Check your monitor calibration. If you zoom in on the picture you can clearly see that the motor is on a piece of black cloth. Also the edges don’t look rendered.

It is real, the guy actually sells the kits.
