assuming you don’t have a torch, you can fill it with water and boil it off and you get the same result

  2. Ptr Says:

Main step -> remove beer from beer bottle.

  3. Elepski Says:

    THAT WAS SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!

    Hack away!

  4. marks256 Says:

That was actually pretty cool! I really liked the wine glass…

  5. Neil Says:

    Way cool!

  6. Yawn Says:

Yawn, this technology has been used for years in commercial glass production.

If you were not home schooled you would have known what the rest of the world has done.

  7. Jack Says:

Not entirely sure of the practical value of this, but looks fun, and it’s pretty interesting to learn about the physical changes the glass goes through in the process. I might have to try this just to be able to show off my melted bottle :)

(And good choice on the brand of beer, Bill!)

  8. Andres Says:

women would never understand why men find this so amazing :)

  9. bill beaty Says:

Similar trick: nuke an aluminized glass christmas ornament (sit it on something nonflammable.) When the aluminum vaporizes, the glass heats up enough to start melting, and the result is a small but impressive light show which goes through several distinct stages. Makes some smoke in your kitchen though.

  10. Lyle Says:

Man if I had an extra microwave laying around I would love to try some of this stuff. There always seems to be something cool to do with a nuke!

  11. Chuck Says:

Check the local good will or salvation army stores. You can get an old microwave for under $20.
