Andres Bella has created a cool Mech Robot that is powered by a Parallax Microcontroller.
“I used a Basic Stamp II microcontroller, is pretty easy to program, and it does everything I need for this project, I got a Power Started that is a very good power supply and gives me enough juice to power up all the electronics, the motors, and the compressor. The micro-controlled controls the solenoids valve that is right under the microcontroller box, the white container that you see in there contains the reservoir for the air, I need to add another one because I don’t get enough pressure with just one, more tanks=more pressure :)”
