Four Leg Shadow Avoiding Quadracore

at 5:17 am. Filed under Electronic Hacks

LloydGod has created a bot that senses light and walks away from the shadows.

“This is a little project from last winter. I hope to make some better shaped legs one of these days for improved walking. When the light on the 2 photo diodes is balanced the rear legs movement is equal on each side. When 1 photo diode is brighter than the other the rear legs will turn more in one direction and less in the other. This cause the bot to change it’s walking gait and direction.”
