Hide a Hard Drive in a UPS

at 5:36 am. Filed under Computer Hacks, Electronic Hacks

Hack your old UPS and install a covert hard drive by using the existing USB connector for access. No one can tell that there is storage in there.

“Your computer downloads in plain sight. Pictures, movies, music, files, whatever! Nobody will even know it’s there. Not your kids, your wife, a burglar - not even the RIAA!”

If the cops seize your computer equipment, they take everything - monitors, speakers, printers etc. so your UPS with a hard drive isn’t going to escape it.
Your only hope would be that they didn’t plug it in or open it up.
