at 5:22 am. Filed under Computer Hacks, Funny Hacks

Just think, if multi tasking operating systems didn’t exist this Multi Monitor System might be what we would need to keep productivity up. :)

“Me and Rob decided to build the ultimate workstation. All 100% custom built by us. We’re nearly done, we just have to do a few more cable organizations and wire in the switch backpane for the networking. Along with a shoplight mounted to the top

Specs:
8′ wide
7′ tall
4.5′ depth
Capacity: 8-32 computers (kvm supported but not installed).
8 17″ LCD Acer monitors w/ stub mounts
8 full sized keyboard/mice
6′7″x4′ keyboard tray (tray slides in and out)
Weight Capacity: Approx. 700+lbs (i can easily jump around on it)”

    how boring

It doesn’t seem comfortable to work at that desk with another three people, you don’t even have the necessary space to move the mouse. Or am I missing something?

  3. Myself Says:

Ahh I did something similar with my bench here, mounted an LCD to the shelf so the space formerly occupied by the CRT is now available for peripherals. I can flip the monitor down to access the bench power supplies behind it…
