The item to guess was a Memory Stick Datalogger made by Parallax. Congratulation to the people who guessed it correctly. Ninety percent of the guesses were incorrect thinking it was a USB to RS232 converter.

Ahhh, thank you! I kept hitting the FTDI Vinculum USB host modules, but I couldn’t find one with the appropriate pin configuration. That was burning a hole in my brain!
Don’t water the contest down, it’s fun when it’s hard.

We have had better ones than this but it is a weekly contest and I think half of the fun isn’t the prize that is up for grabs but the challenge of finding the answer. Do you guys give out any prizes?
