This is a nice contest. If you haven’t seen this piece before it could be a little more harder than the other contests but i think most of the user from hg won’t think about it a sec to know it. (a very very X-Rated, yellow brown flying thing 😉

I haven’t had a problem to identify this part, but i can give you a nice tip for identifying parts in the future. If you are searching a Part from the manufacturers logo (Like Integrated circuits) have a jump to the following german page http://www.aufzu.de or better (http://www.aufzu.de/semi/gif/stamps.html) There you’ll find some further links to a great stamp picture archive to identify your picture on the part.
Do i cheat if i say that you can find some further information for this contest if you have a closer look on this page (But not in the stamps area *G*)?

why cant the prize be what you have to name as ive been wanting to play with some of these modules for ages now but all out of money, being a student sucks.

  9. Alan Parekh Says:

    Hi JessIvan,

Yes, the link you provided was correct. Please don’t leave comments with the answer in them though, just email in your guess. The link in your comment has been removed.

    Hi Ben,

That is a great resource, I never knew about it before. Thanks. 🙂

  11. Alan Parekh Says:

    Hi bender386,

I hadn’t thought about that before. If there is a product where the cost is feasible and easy to get I may consider that in the future.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
