Name the Thing Contest - 7

Congratulation to Troy and Chris who were the winners last week.

The prize this week will be useful to anyone who needs to do presentations. It has a laser pointer, LED light, ball point pen and extendable pointing rod.

This contest will run for this weekend only (June 9 - 10, 2007) . Ending time is based on central standard time. To enter, identify the item pictured above and give an example of what can be done with it. Please do not give the answer in the comments.

 

Send an email to contest @ hackedgadgets.com with “Name the Thing Contest” as the subject, and the message body consisting of:
* The name of the item in the above picture
* An example of what the item pictured above can be used for

The winner will be chosen at random from all the correct entries.

The device is a Ultrasonic 25kHz Transducer. There are lots of applications including distance measuring.

    You could use the expendable part to whack some people when they are not paying attention or misbehave. haha Nice tin case too. I wish tin would make a comeback. It is such a flexible, but tough material. Plastic just breaks too easily.

    The two buttons activate the laser and LED flashlight.

    The contest is simple, just send an email to the address indicated with the name of the item shown in the picture at the top of the post and give an example of what can be done with it. A random selection will be made from all of the correct entries, the selected entry will win the laser pointer pen.
