Search Contest

at 12:01 am. Filed under Contests

Congratulations to Peter and Colin who won prizes last weekend. We are doing something a bit different this weekend. The item above is an opto-isolator, one of the 2007 Cornell University
ECE 476 Microcontroller Design
used it. The challenge this week is to find the project that used it. :)

The prize is a laser pointer pen with a built in 256MB USB drive.

This contest will run for this weekend only (May 12 - 13, 2007) . To enter, identify the project that uses the item pictured above. Please do not give the answer in the comments.

Send an email to contest @ hackedgadgets.com (remove spaces) with “Search Contest” as the subject consisting of:
* The name of the Cornell ECE 476 project that used the item pictured.

The winners will be chosen at random from all of the correct entries.

The official project that I had selected is the Retractable Alarm Clock which is a featured project today. However from the entries I can see that many other projects also used the same device. As it happens the random entry selected also indicated the Retractable Alarm Clock project.

The winner of the Cool USB Pen is Ryan M.
(There were 77 entries for this contest)

Thanks to all who entered.
