I can see a cheap knockoff of this technology coming to market for pet entertainment, first there was the pet DVD, next will be virtual games projected on the floor…

A real ball with proximity sensors and an AI geared toward evasion might fit the bill.
Pretty cool though. How about some sort of large scale arcade game for the human animals out there too!
I could see a tennis-style mod of this being interesting….
